Very good but not excellent. Some topics are confusing and not explained well enough. I hated the fact that when my father passed away the HR Block software would not let me EFile for the State of Wisconsin. What a pain to manually file!
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

Relatively easy to use with good consistency year-to-year. Imports well from previous years and from numerous 3rd parties. Form explanations are brief but informative in the federal module but virtually not existent in the state (NY) module. Very limited up-sell; those that did appear were appropriately placed in the program and did not reappear once declined. Nice output options and appearance. Very reasonably priced for what you get; will continue to purchase as long as quality is maintained.
