Retired with a laptop that isn’t used much. Thank you for putting out a program that can still be used on windows 10. I was quite ready to upgrade. So I used H & R instead of my usual Turbo Tax. Info transferred easy enough.

I had several issues with downloading and installing the product. Your software kept telling me it could mot connect to your server. I was finally able to complete the federal return process by accessing the "update" option, downloading the software and then installing it using the "tools" option. I had the same problem when trying to download/install the state version (Maine). I used the same tools option to do this and it worked. I have been using your product for years (at least 20), and this is this first time I have had problems so you need to debug this "connection" issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents

Did not include a required form in the Vermont state package. Self employed folks must contribute to the child care. There is a special line and form...couldn't file my VT taxes online because of it...please include that feature/form next year....I thought the omission would be corrected after not providing it last year

This product does everything I need. Price is reasonable considering how much time and confusion it saves me. Both the IRS and state returns. Since I use the same product every year, much of it fills in automatically, saving me more time.
I have a modest taxable investment account. I would be clueless as to what to do with the statement they send me at the end or the year. With this product, I just fill in the blanks and the software puts everything in the right place. Otherwise I would have to spend a great deal more money to have hire someone to do it for me.
