I have been using H & R Block software for years...you simply gather all your records and fill in the blanks as you go through the paperwork....the program recognizes all the rules that apply and does all the math....it even ask questions that one may overlook.....this is the most complete program for families that do their own tax return......very satisfied with the results I have received over the years......James R Craig

We have used HR Block software for many years to do our taxes. We have been pleased with the process. We had one minor hiccup this year. There was an issue that needed to be corrected before we could e-file our taxes. The "button" took us to a form that caused the issue. The way to resolve the issue was not clear but there was a "delete the form" button. I deleted the form and we were then able to file our taxes. We would have liked a little more explanation about why this issue would have prevented us from e-filing.

Cons: Time consuming
