I have always used this software in the past but this time I am having more difficulty with even looking up forms or moving around in the interview. I'm at the end of the return and it won't let me get past a form that never should have been there. I feel like they want you to spend more and have to talk to an pro for $30 more.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

poor performance of USB Webkey and software

had difficulty installing software, computer could not open USB webkey, after a number of attempts finally accept it, would not down load software, was charged 3 different times, discovered that a letter in my last name was replaced with ? mark, had to call web I. T. to fix it they had to refund me 2 times in order correct error. other than that it worked very well. I would not recommend new user to acquire software.

Cons: Hard to prepare

Overall very good though anything concerning previous years is difficult for them. I had to upgrade to a new computer and the files I thought I could transfer did not. They could not really help me retrieve my other tax years so definitely need paper backup.

My kids use it now too. Results are everything I want (or reasonably expect). Initial entry is straight forward; can be difficult to find a specific data entry point again.

It Was Quick and Easy!

This is the second year in a row that I've used this brand software. It was a pretty quick task last year to do both my federal and state taxes, and e-file the federal. (I had been using a different brand for a few years before, and so I went through all the steps last year a bit slower than most because I was unfamiliar with the product.) But this year I was able to complete everything within 2-3 hours. I DO keep my records throughout the year in a somewhat recognizable order, so pretty much all I do is wait for the actual records to come from financial companies, charities, etc., and verify the numbers. This software makes the job easy to fill out all the forms!
Pros: Fast
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have used the H&R Block tax software for the past 11 years and have found it to be consistently easy to use. It steps me through my tax documents in a logical and thorough manner. I appreciate the numerous tax tips and helps it offers. It also questions when unusual or atypical entries are made which have helped me correct numerous errors through the years. I have been fully satisfied with the H&R Block product for both my Federal and State taxes and highly recommend its use.

Excellent software once the Federal and State of California gets their acts together with proper forms released. Early edition of H & R block was unsatisfactory not due to calculations, but due to Government IRS forms not released to the public in January 2020
