I think a reconciliation schedule of the final tax computation would be helpful. (i.e. taking the AGI figure and showing how the tax is computed by component of that AGI figure.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

As a retired CPA I find the program it’s pretty good. My only problem is from a technological standpoint. I run the program on an apple Mac with the latest OS Updates. It seems as though every season one or more updates do not function properly. As a result, I have to go into the web and pull down a file and update manually. This is my only complaint.

The software is generally good, but it doesn't always fill out all of the forms. For one of the tax issues I had (which was supposed to be covered by the software I purchased), I had to fill out a form manually, and the software program did not tell me that I had to do that. (I discovered the issue on my own.) It wasn't very easy to edit the form manually, and the edits did not carry over to the tax software. Overall, I will use the product again, but it's not the easiest to use.
Pros: Fast

Purchased this because it didn’t require windoze11. It did the job, mostly, but did not include the local city income tax that I needed to file. I’m used to Turbo Tax, and found this product to be less intuitive to use. I will probably go back to the ‘other’ program for next year, for those reasons.

Not as good as it used to be. I get errors at the final accuracy check and don't trust the program. When looking at the underlying documents every thing looks ok. I Been using the program for over 15 years. Not sure about next year.
