Easy walk through interview process with downloading of W2 and some financial documents. Been using H&R now for about 6 years after using TurboTax for many years. Efile is easy, but I maybe had an issue with my state, not sure yet. I owed money to the state of Alabama, when I submitted my return I had it set up where the state would be paid on April 1 with a debit to my checking account. But when I did the check status and everything was accepted I had a procedure to go through to print a signature form and submit payment info to the state. I think. This was confusing, not sure if the state will be paid automatically or if I need to print something and mail it in. Time will tell, if I don't see a debit to my checking account then I know I will have to mail in a payment. I think. Really shouldn't be any confusion, first time I've owed money to the state so we'll see what happens.

I have been using H&R Block now for many years and I am satisfied with its ease of use and underlying information to help use the package. I have 2 issues: 1) I have multiple foreign asset accounts and this year required 15 continuation sheets, however I cannot include this info in my H&R Block program - should be easy to allow continuation sheets that one can fill out within the program, therefore all my tax forms are included in my H&R Block file; 2) given I have multiple foreign asset continuation sheets and cannot file electronically you still give me the option to file electronically - you need to insure a user cannot file electronically in this situation.
