I used H&R Block tax software for years. It’s been easy to use. This year was just a little harder than the past because of the changes the Fed. I live in South Carolina and they didn’t coply with federal changes. However your software handle it. Only no instructions were provided.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Nice and easy. Needs to have a more complete dropdown box to record specific state deductions. Having NJ and limited other available dtates is frustrating and needs to be fixed states

I purchased H&R Block Deluxe for the first time and it was easy to use, and I had my taxes done in about 4 or 5 hours. The eFilings were easy as well.
The only problem I had was the Estimated Taxes for 2026 Planning section. I had to manually figure out the amount of the estimated taxes. The program did not generate vouchers either.

I recently got a new computer so just logged into my account and it brought all my previous information forward so I didn’t have to re-enter anything.

Been using Block products for years - overall very satisfied, but disappointed by the increased price every year. I do a number of returns for family members, so it would be beneficial to be able to forward a completed return to Block when more than 5 would like to e-file. With the increased IRS focus on e-filing, how is block going to deal with those of us who do not request ERO status
