For 2 years I have got in trouble with the Stste of West Virginia. I had to end up paying 2024 and this year they reduced my refund

I have used H&R Blocks tax software for many years. This years edition was easy to use and uncomplicated in it's format. I feel I received the maximum refund that we were entitled to. I would recommend to others for next years tax preparation.

I've been using H&R Block Tax Software for years. It's simple and easy to use. The 2025 tax software version had delays because of a specific investment I have. It shows me a message "calculations of QBI carryforward amounts from Schedule K-1 are not available in this update", which means I cannot e-file my taxes as of March 20, 2026. I have to wait until the next update which are typically sent out weekly. I hope the update is available before April 15, 2026.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Time consuming
