I am an old non-tax accountant and have used you and Turbo-tax personally for many, many years. This 2019 edition was by far the most easy to negotiate yet. Congratulation on making an otherwise frustrating experience if not pleasant, at least doable.

I have been using H and R block software for several years. I have confidence that my returns are done correctly. I love the fact that the software checks for audit risk and shows you what to fix. I have not had an audit with this software. I also like the e-file option.

I discovered a challenge in this year's program for the State of MN. After calling H&R and
also State of MN Tax section, I was able to determine that e-file is very sensitive to what
you put into the program. All my income was recorded on Forms 1099-R or Social Security
Form SSA-1099-SM. Withholdings were recorded a little differently on each form and I
learned that you have to answer the SPECIFIC question and not the way the employees
prepared the 1099-R

I’ve used H&R Block tax software for several years and I’ve found it to be the easiest I’ve ever used. The import feature for entering last years info is a real time saver. The user interface is very intuitive and navigation is a no brainer. I especially like the e-file option. Saves me having to make an extra run to the Post Office.
