Been using H&R Block tax software for years and love it. Only downfall is that some forms don’t get final update until mid to late February. Not sure if is software fault or Government fault getting forms finalized.

I have been buying this for the last several years. It basically leads you through the tax process. The only real fault is that it doesn't send you to the appropriate form when using help with a specific tax issue.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents

The deluxe software STILL has the same faulty issue as last year regarding IRA distributions. The verbiage leads the user to believe that the standard distribution is actually an "excess distribution" and results in an automatic determination of a Penalty Due - even though, when In Fact, an "excess distribution" never existed !!! Finally able to figure out a work-around to get past that part of the dialogue. Poor Wording, Poor Guidance. Poor Form. H&R Block used to be a Much, MUCH better!
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
