Software is easy to download and easy to use. I use BOTH the Federal and State (Montana) Tax Software. I have been using it for over 10 years now without so much as 1 regret!! They make filing easy and I can do BOTH the federal and State Tax returns in less than one afternoon. I HIGHLY Recommend this Tax Software!!!!

I am a longtime fan of H&R Block tax software for more than 20 years. However I was very disappointed this year because of a lack of update between the Federal and State tax returns. On first go-through of the Federal forms, I manually entered my retirement account information but not my brokerage account info because it was not ready. I then started my State return. Once brokerage account information was made available, I downloaded it from my broker. I then noticed that my retirement account information also downloaded as duplicates of my manual entries. I deleted the manual entries to remove the duplications everything appeared to be correct except the State return did not remove the duplications from the Federal. Since there was no visibility of this information in the State return, I confidently filed both returns, only to be notified by my state revenue department that my return was in correct and they are changing my refund amount. While in this case, I was not penalized for the error, but my confidence in your process is now in jeopardy.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming

Ive used your program for years, this year I had problems with it. when I added more than one W2 it would delete box 1 on the form and i would have to go back and add it. this happened more than once.

Bought the state but I can't efile it because your software doesn't include Missouri form MO-PTS. So, I have to print the form and mail in my the federal and state return to Missouri. This is a huge and time consuming step, which makes buying your software not worth it.

For the Nth Time: Until H&R Block Deluxe 2025 Software provides for a PRINT button on every page as being processed you will continue to get a 1 Star Rating! I am so tired of having to make cell phone screen prints of my PC screen to get a print of subject page content. This has been reported as a user for over five years. You want a 5 Star, earn it with this simple no cost feature. DUH!!!!!
