Major error that help could not fix and escalated

I was unable to finish up and buy the state program. Your program kept going in a circle on a issue with income and taxable income. Your agent could not figure it out and said that he escalated it to a team who would contact me. No one ever contacted me via email or phone. Ultimately, I had to bypass buying the state, then I was able to file my federal return.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the software updates rendered my return unreadable and the advice from the help desk was to start over from scratch. Both my federal and state returns were at the final review stage. A later update did resolve the issue but after I redid both returns

The software worked very well. I like that I can import last years info and not have to add everything from scratch. This year a few days after I sent it to the IRS I realized I left something out. For the first time I filed an amendment, that worked well too. I wish I could have efiled the State amendment too, but it would not let me. I had paid for Deluxe plus state. It's almost 5 stars...very close.

A great product but a little disconcerting when I upgrade the software and the amount I owe changes with no other changes to the return. Are people missing out on something? Am I going to owe more down the road?
