Software will not load on windows 8.1, but will load on windows 7 and 10. Spent a lot of time walking between computers and loosing data when I used my computer with windows 8.1.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Works very well for returns with income and investments. The intervew approach is convenient. However, I'd like to know in advance what's included in a topic. Also, in what other form(s) and where is a number I entered reported. The last is particularly important with the complexity in the new forms brought about by tax law changes in 2018-19. "This number is related to" or words to that effect often is inaccurate..
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

The software was easy to use and gave me accurate results however there was a gliche in the Oregon State form where it asked for the expiration date on my driver's license. This was apparently necessary for e-filing. The form would not let me enter more than the first number of the year regardless of how I tried to enter it: xx/xx/x or x/x/x (my birth month and day are single digits and could be preceded by a zero, or not). So I left it blank. Perhaps I should have checked the box "no expiration date" but that would have been a false statement. This prevented me from e-filing my state return.
Pros: Easy to prepare

The software handled my TDAmeritrade gains and losses without any issues. I liked the W-2 photo input function which saved time versus manual entry. Import of the prior year turboTax data saved time entering my user data and account information. I'm pleased with this software.
