The federal prep portion of the software was easy to use. The medical deduction portion of the Ohio prep portion is misleading and could lead to taking the same deduction twice.

Easy to use with accurate results. No longer do I have to worry about the math. All topics are explained and the filer is systematically questioned and led thru the process. There is an audit check at the end and a planner for future tax years. All in all a great product I’ve been success with for many years.

I was satisfied with H&R Block in previous years, but this year I had forms 1099-Q and 1098-T and was very disappointed in the instructions provided by H&R Block for QTP (529) distributions. I had to research publication 970 myself and search specific questions on the internet in order to know what needed to be done. It makes me wonder if H&R Block is lacking in other areas, too.
