Overall software is poor and the AI feature is useless. You really need a lot of knowledge about taxes to use the software. The software provides very little assistance.

Quick, easy and very familiar with years past. With consistent format from previous years it is easy to enter all the information you need to file your taxes. Help is there is there if you need it. I'll be buying it again with 100% certainty.

Crashed on Mac during accuracy review and file

After completing the questionnaire for both Fed and State the software started crashing on Accuracy Review every time! I even tried to ignore and just file electronically, crashed there too! Contacted support via chat twice and phone once never resolved. Finally had to complete uninstall (instructions provided by support) re-install, reboot and then carefully start my return from scratch. Luckily was able to get through successfully without crashing and filed. But very painful/time-consuming and worrisome.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Some great features but not very customizable.

The software works well enough. However, as my wife and I are retired, all we have are 1099's. Perhaps you could put in a list of what type of income you are reporting (1099s, w-2s...) at the beginning of the filing so I don't have to click through pages and pages of things that don't apply to me. My son only has his W-2 and maybe 1 1099 for interest - and I am clicking through page after page.

Cons: Time consuming
