I have been working with this software for a many years. It’s been pretty good. But it has become more and more difficult to read the screen pages. When one needs to impute critical data’s, ability to actually impute the figures is onerous. If the cells could just be programmed to be larger. One could actually see what one is imputing. So little of the screen is actually utilized efficiently. I don’t know if this useful to H&R. ; but larger impute cells could make the program user friendly to see what one is imputing.
Cons: Time consuming
I would recommend this to a friend!

It was fine. I have used this over many years. I was very disappointed I could not talk to a human when I had questions. I may think about going with someone where I can talk to a human and not just talk to a chat bot!!

I have always used H&R Block software and loved it because it was easy to follow but this year the program was changed and was harder to follow
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

The software does a poor job handling Roth Conversions. I had to file amended returns for 2023 and 2024. I owed more money in 2023 for the state return and received a refund in 2024 for the state return. Will not be using this software again.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Program works fine. But suggestion to improve understanding of the questions a little better:
When a topic lasts for more than one page, put the topic headline on the top of subsequent pages, so its clear that you're still on the same topic. Also...
Use more yes or no questions. Some of the questions start with an assumption that you have that instance, and others assume you don't. Be consistent in the questioning

Simple to use, appears to be accurate. Only negative was I could not find where in the program I could go to generate estimated tax vouchers for 2026. As I recall, that was easily available in previous years.
