The H&R Block 2025 Deluxe Federal and State software doesn't let you go back to edit forms, so make sure that all of the info you enter is correct the first time.
Also, I wanted to make an amended return but the software wouldn't let me change the number value of one of my forms. I was able to override the box to enter the correct number after speaking with support, but the software doesn't allow you to e-file a return that has a form with an override. That makes no sense. After all, an amended return means you had to make a change.

Overall experience was fine, but I did have an issue with foreign taxes paid. We hit a threshold on the amount of foreign taxes, unbeknownst to me, and the amount didn't show up on the tax form. Only after an AI session did I find out that a separate tax credit with additional info had to be entered. The software should have recognized the threshold and prompted me to enter the info, without me having to search around the web for guidance.
