It crashed multiple times for me, with a message related to 'AGI'/ The message disappeared before I could read it. The automated help system was worthless and I couldn't reach a real person. (It was on the weekend).
Pros: Easy to prepare

You never told us of anticipated updates after an update weeks ago, although one was posted a week after I filed. Customers deserve to know if updates are expected - given your control over submitting both state and federal returns, at the time someone tells you to file, you should alert them to any issue on which you expect the IRS or states to update their requirements or apps so people can delay

I have been using your tax sw for many years and it has made tax prep much easier for even dealing with investments.
The only issue I dislike about the sw is that if you are filling federal and a state, you cannot file them separately. You have to click both or federal only. Why is this a problem? You have to pay for the state. If there is a problem with your federal return you have to pay twice for a state submission. I’m sure that H&R banks on that$$.

I’ve been using this software for years. I don’t qualify for the free options on IRS.gov, but wish I did, since they can be done on an iPad. I don’t know why the Deluxe and others purchased can’t?!?! Because I don’t own a laptop, I have to borrow one from someone and deal with trying to maneuver on an unfamiliar device, not to mention downloading the software when I’m not the administrator. PLEASE make it compatible to be used on an iPad!
Pros: Maximizes refund
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents
