Would have given 5 stars but some input pages are confusing like on the Ohio State Return - Unreimbursed Medical and Dental Expenses. It states to
"Tell us about your out-of-pocket medical and dental expenses other than insurance premiums." but then it says to include "Health insurance premiums paid with after-tax income". Either such premiums are to be included or not.

I was a Turbo Tax guy for several years and switched in 2017 to H&R and like it much better.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents

I don't recall the interview ever asking if I received a 1099-B. When I went to sales of stock and found the place to enter it, the interview did not ask whether to enter numbers from Sec. 3 or Sec. 5 on the 1099-B.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to prepare

Bought this online and downloaded it with no problems. I have used H & R Block tax software for years and have had no problems. I also appreciate the price. I expect to use them again next year.
I would like to see a button that would skip a lot of stuff that does not pertain to those who just want to use the standard deduction.

Absolutely horrendous this year. It would not e-file my state form because it "did not support e-filing one of the forms" that it had in the program. Usually when I file my state it automatically includes required federal schedules. This year no. I don't know why. Very dissatisfied.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
