WORST VERSION IN YEARS

I have used H&R for years and was never unsatisfied. This year was different. It came with no activation code so the return could not be filed.There was a data verification error that could not be cleared or explained.
Next year it will be Turbotax
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been using H&R Block software for years - much prefer over TurboTax. It's very easy to use and has all of the features I need. I filed Federal online, cost of which was included in the product, and it was accepted almost immediately. I will be mailing in my state return since for that there is a charge associated with filing online.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
