This product is UNUSABLE if you have a lot of investment transaction imported from your financial institution. The IRS allows "like" transactions to be grouped together. For example, selling a mutual fund on one date where the buy dates for Var-Long transactions can be grouped together and Var-Short transactions can be grouped together. This software does not do this. I have to manually scroll and review over 300 investment transactions when, in reality, I could hand enter 10.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've been using H&R Block tax software for over 10 years and have always found it to be easy to use, with accurate results, and seamless integration with previous years' returns. I've never had a problem with incorrect filings and am completely confident in the accuracy of the filed returns. Starting a new return from year to year is very easy because the software imports the previous year's automatically saving time and keystrokes. I highly recommend both the federal and state versions since they can handle the simplest as well as more complex returns.

Does everything well, especially if you know your way around a tax form. Big failure is the continued lack of K1 support, same tired message from program every time you do a K1, that it can't help with certain aspects of the K1. What's the recourse - go into an office?? Most Tax Pros don't have K1 training.
