H&R Block Deluxe software not working correctly

I purchased H&R Block deluxe and I didn't get confirmation that my taxes were accepted until the next day. I cannot even locate my tax forms when I open my H&R Block software even though I saved them at the end of the program when prompted. My brothers tax forms are there but mine are not
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

it was a little clunky compared to my experience with turbo tax. saving as a pdf was also a little bit of a chore... should be one click to save as pdf. good price

I have used the software for the first time after many years during which I had the taxes prepared by an accountant. I found it greatly improved. It is easy to use and to file the taxes (simultaneously) to both the IRS and to the state (PA in my case). Except for one thing (not being able to find easily a form for the state) the program was perfect for my purposes. I have to mention that I am retired and that myself and my wife derive the income from a combination of distributions and SS benefits.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

I switched to H&R Block software last year (2018 Return) due to a big price increase in the software I had used for many years. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy to follow and understand the progress through the tax return both last year and this year (2019 Return) and so I plan to continue using it next year and I recommend it.

The program worked very smoothly. The link to my investment house was very good, but only allowed me 1 download. It then would not download the accounts a 2nd time. I had made a mistake and wanted to correct each account but could not do it. I ended up deleting my entire first federal return and starting all over again. The second attempt to do my federal return and download my financials worked, and I didn't make the same mistake I made the first time I tried to complete a return.

Cons: Hard to import documents
