Bought this because it can be used with windows 10. Always used Turbotax but this year it had to be used on windows 11.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I tried desperately to get questions answered. I made an appointment, the person never called. I used the AI help, each answer was not relevant. I called back to say that the appointment person never called and was told I had a "good question" (and beyond their expertise) and that someone would call me back within 3-5 days. No one ever called me back. I really feel like you advertise it a lot that it is easy to get help. My experience is the opposite of that.

I switched from another brand this year, so its not surprising that I had trouble adapting to this new software. That being said, H&R instructions seem to be incomplete and confusing in some cases, especially because it seems to ask me questions that it already known the answers to. It also seems to have hidden two of the most important pieces of information which help you understand why your taxes are so high. Its true that the calculation for the actual Federal taxes doesn't need to be filed, but why hide it? I finally found the two necessary pages on the IRS website, and made the calculations myself for my benefit. They provide "mini-worksheets" for almost all of the places where calculations are done, so why leave out the most important one?
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents

I appreciate that you still had a product that worked in Windows 10. Honestly I have been using TurboTax for years, but I found that they didn’t work in Windows 10 this year. Since I didn’t want to buy a new computer just yet just to do the taxes I chose to use your software for the first time. I was generally pleased but did find that it wasn’t quite as intuitive as my past experiences with TurboTax. All things eventually worked out fine and I appreciate what you have done.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
