Best software ever. I took your in house course many years ago while in the military. I ended up being our unit tax advisor and helped many soldiers with the skills learned there. Today your software really takes out almost all of the possibility for mathematical errors and makes it much easier to fill in complex forms.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Horrible- my taxes kept changing for no reason. If I put in a number that I knew should not effect my taxes and it did then I would go back and take it out and I could never get back to the tax amount before I put the number in even though I did not change anything else. Nothing made any sense. I am going to use turbo tax next year.
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to prepare

For the money I guess it's not a bad deal but it is somewhat hard to navigate especially in the review section. It doesn't explain that it is a pop up review that you can close out of. I've used other software that was less confusing.

Inaccurate and poor quality of H&R Block returns

I am disappointed in product. Form for Foreign Tax Credit doesn't allow you to put in RIC as source of taxable income. When you click on that option and then try to e-file your return, your return can't be sent because H&R software doesn't allow a 3 letter code (only 2 letters). Therefore, you have to print and mail return. When you go to print your return some forms are incompletely printed. For example, a 4 page form will only print out pages 1,2, and 4 even though there are entries on page 3. You have to print this form alone to get it to print correctly.

H&R Block is a tax program that is easy to use. Just answer the questions and the program does the rest. Plus this program gives you a free email to send your taxes in which can get you your refund much quicker thru direct deposit.

Need more help with K-1s. Also, don't understand why it can't print all the federal forms you need to submit with the state return or explain why there is a difference between state and federal items.

Interview would take an input for an estimated. tax payment but wouldn't apply it to the state Il-1040 so I had to hand insert it on the Il-1040. How hard is that to code?
