I have used H&R Block for many years. This year my return has been rejected by IRS, apparently due to a software error in Form 1116. This error was to be corrected by 3/13 but this has not occurred and I am currently unable to file my return. I have attempted to manually correct the values in Form 1116 but the program does not allow this. I will wait for the next general update scheduled on 3/20. There is no way to get appropriate help with this problem and I am becoming frustrated. I'm not sure that I will use this software in the future.

Each security transaction should include a field in which I can enter adjustment to purchase price that reflects recapture of amount disallowed for wash sale. Your instructions tell me that I can do this, but don't explain how. So I just replace the cost that you took from the 1099 with the adjusted cost. Also, there should be field(s) to enter social security paid by countries having tax treaties with USA, since the USA treats it like USA Social Security.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
