program said the IRS wasn't able to accept my return and needed an updated form...waited and
checked for a month to see what the updated form was with no updates. finally, just filed and
the IRS accepted the return.

I had a little trouble in the beginning, but after I got going I gained momentum. I like the verifications that the program requests. If mistakes are there, you know it traces back to the user’s input.

I have been using the software for a long time. Certain circumstances pertaining to IRA conversion and yearly Roth contribution not handle correctly. It does create 8606 but consider it as an additional contribution to Roth IRA thus creating additional tax .Conversion and yearly contribution has no impact.There is no in person to discuss the concern. AI agent is not the best solution.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The flow seemed confusing. I had to do a lot corrections and backing up because the directions seemed hard to follow.. I have used the older versions of the software but this version had some twists and turns. Then I was charged twice to file my efile state formsmm
