Loved it - the only issue was K-1 Line 20 AH info wasn't clear - had to call a CPA to figure out if I needed to enter an amount other than zero and file Form 8890

I have been using H&R software for 12 years after becoming frustrated with another products endless questions rather than the ability to skip sections that did not apply to me. This year I only had two issues, the lack of the product to automatically include a carryover loss and problems updating. I had to manually enter something that, unless tax laws change, will be applicable for several more years for a limited business loss. Then when I went to file I got a message that I needed to update, but could not do it either automatically or manually. Fortunately online chat got me a link to download a fully up to date full program and installing that fixed the problem. I question why full installs are not the norm over update files which are only about half the size of the full program.
I have been using H&R Block tax software for a few years now. The program is pretty straightforward. It makes my fairly simple tax filing easy and does not take a lot of time.
I thought the whole process was easy to use and very thorough in guiding me at each step. I thought a real bonus in being a return user was the ability to bring forward the previous years info. Thanks for providing me with what I consider an excellent product.
I have used H&R for 5 years now. I like the easy transfer of information and that I don't have to retype everything. I wish the state was free but 5 of the federal returns are.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
