Needs work

It was not as easy as the last 3 years. Did not print my state 1040-es forms also.
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast

The software is easy to use and walks you through everything. There are explanations for everything. I've been using it since it first came out and was called Tax Cut. I usually run through our taxes as individual and joint filing status to see the differences. This software makes it easy.

Had a prroblem

Refer: Ohio State sheet/page "Your business sources" The page seemed to be requesting data for business name, FEIN/1099 and percentage with one column of data boxes that would not accept numbers or letters. Finding help for this page seemed too difficult. Not supplying this data prevented emailing the Ohio return.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I used the H&R Block Deluxe software on 3/17/20 & my refund is in my bank account already!! I'm thankful to H&R Block and to the IRS for electronically processing my return especially in the difficult times we are ALL experiencing with Covid-19!---very thankful!
Pros: Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming

Good Software, But Update Issues

I have using their software for years. This tax season's software has a update bug that is a little aggravating. Everytime there is an update and I open my return to continue, it either doesn't recognize the saved return and I had to start over (not good), or when I went in to check the status of my return, it said I didn't e-file, which I did. I am glad I at least got an email saying that my return was accepted and I had already printed a copy for my files. This is the first time I have ever had any issues with their software. Hopefully this won't be happening next tax season, otherwise I may have to go to TurboTax.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming
