I've been using H&R Block tax software for about ten years. It is dependable, simple to use, easy to download, accurate, and less expensive that the competition. Have never had a problem, nor encountered any tax situation that the program did not handle correctly. I recommend highly!

The software has been on a steady decline for several years. I had a big tax bill in 2018. I thought I might save by filing separately from my wife. The software used to run a comparison for you, but I found out the hard way it doesn't anymore. Now I'm filling a 2018 return for my wife (I assumed the software had done that), and to make matters worse, it erased all my wife's info! No more Block!
Cons: Doesn't maximize refund, Hard to import documents
