Good easy to use. Previous versions had summaries of pertinent IRS documents, and links to the documents. With this version I had to go to the IRS website to find and understand how to complete some of the more complex forms. Pretty disappointing after many years of effective use.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Hard to prepare

Easy to download (or upload - prior years' experience), complete reviews. Simplifies the process. I've used it for years, without problems and will continue to do so. I used a different, highly recommended product for several years, but found Tax Cut to be easier to use, with better answers to questions, more complete research and simpler transactions to the IRS (both refunds and payments, if necessary).
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

I paid an additional 20 for an upgrade and it didn't work. They must know this happens because they try to sell some type of insurance for it in case it doesn't download. Very shady.

Cons: Doesn't maximize refund

This software is very comprehensive for all kinds of tax situations. It's important to note, however, that basic understanding of tax law is necessary for those using any tax software that is available. I have been using it for years and personally prefer the H&R Block software over Turbotax.

A little more complex than TurboTax but so much less money. I've been using this tax software for years since before TurboTax downgraded their software and made their investment input manual (Deluxe Edition). Never had an issue with either the Fed or the State questioning H&R Block tax returns. One free Federal electronic return. I dislike them using my data, even anonymously, so I modify it before allow the software internet access. At half the price for H&R Block, TurboTax has lost my business forever. I would have given them a 5 star rating if the software was a little easier to use.

Very little access to relevant info from within the app. Much screen space is wasted, leaving font very small and non-adjustable. On the other hand, Federal e-file is very well handled.
