There was an error on the program that was corrected later on an update. All worked fine. However when I called about the update the two people I spoke with did not seem to understand what I was explaining. They seemed to have little knowledge of the program and were trained only to give answers to simple questions. Fair enough if you can't train everyone on everything however the agents could at least be trained to listen carefully and know enough to document the right information so someone else could see it. I did receive an e-mail update however the instructions were very basic and provided no new information.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Have been using H&R Block Deluxe for many years. It is always a quality product and very easy to use. The process is like an interview for specific information that's needed for the tax forms. The questions are worded to be simple to understand. There are details if you need more information on a given topic.

Long time H&R Block Deluxe user. Installs easily and runs smoothly. Value the familiar interface and interview process which easily handles my relatively simple tax situation. Introduction of AI assistant was not particularly useful. Rather use a full-fledged AI engine outside the tax product. Otherwise, no issues with a 2025 version.

The first program that was purchased would delete my return before it would efile, it would say I had to update before it could efile so even with saving numerous times it would run the so called update and then my return would be blank. Contacted the help chat line and they ended up telling me I could use the online program which would be an additional cost so I just purchased a second program and it worked properly. I’ve used H&R numerous years and was really disappointed with my experience this year

I've been using the Deluxe version for quite a few years. My taxes are very much the same preparation each year so the forms i use are pretty much repetitive. I didn't use the AI feature because I didn't want to complicate thing. Knowing what to expect each year makes the process so much easier. Thanks!

I have been using H&R Block software since it acquired Tax Cuts. Thinking it’s at least 20 to 25 years. I would say that continued use and longevity can only mean that I think the program is outstanding. No past audits or IRS adjustments.
