There were two items that I had to search for because the software didn’t ask important questions.
1. In the federal software: software knew I was over 73 and with my entry that I took money out of my IRA, it should have asked if any of it was a Qualified Charitable Distribution. I had to search for it.
2. Virginia State software: I had to search for where to claim where to reduce my income based on military retirement pay.

I have used your product for many years, and never had a problem. This year, I had to manually enter all of my financial information from Merrill Lynch instead of being able to import it. No explanations as to why...just 'enter manually'. The import is one of the most important parts of any tax software. Because of this I will not be using your service in the future.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not so good (not clear) on Residential Energy Tax Credit questions and option explanations. Not good on describing errors in enough detail, missing info.. Still needs work to make software truly user-friendly

I’ve used the H&R Block tax software on my Mac for many years and always been pleased with it. It does everything it’s supposed to do generally, but this year I was u able to import investment data from my Merrill Lynch account. I called for support, was told there was a 10-minute wait and given the option of having someone call me back. I got the call back and was told there was a problem with importing from M-L and the problem was not expected to be fixed in time to use it for the 2025 tax filing season. I did wind up manually importing the data (hence four stars instead of five stars) and I was then able to successfully file my Federal and State taxes.
Pros: Easy to prepare
I would recommend this to a friend!
