Easy to use. What I like about computer based tax software, do your 100% legit version that will be submitted. And then do a 2nd one where you fudge the numbers, play 'What If?' to see what happens.

OK, but serious problems with Fed&State e-filing

Good in general - have been using it for years. Federal e-file refused with Form 2210. I deleted it (which increased my taxes) and then it e-filed. State e-file unsuccessful later (saying something about Dividends/Sched B?). One of the customer reps on the phone was superb, very patient and polite! She gave me an entire new app to download (updates didn't seem to fix some things).

Fails the Foreign Tax Credit Carryover worksheet

The interviews are straightforward; the customer support was responsive.
Handling K-1's was manual requiring making entries where the software really did not allow manual entry.
My biggest complaint is that if you Foreign Taxes paid and had Foreign Tax carry over from prior years, this software does NOT provide a worksheet for the carry over which is required by IRS. If this is your situation, you have to forego e-file, print the tax return and attach your own worksheet and then mail it !!! Absurd.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
