I purchased the product as I have for many years since it makes it easy to use the previous tax returns for guidance. However, this year I had a tax credit for AC Heat Pump purchase, and although I received my state refund in a week, I'm still waiting for my Federal refund after 12 weeks. No one knows why. Not convinced that they are keeping up with the tax laws or supporting documentation, and will probably use something else next time

This year the product is terrible. You can not download from Merrill Lynch. I have used for over 10 years and this year it changed. I will not purchase again.

Very good except prompts for entering federal PIN
on April 5, 2026

The tax software is very good but it doesn’t prompt one to enter the PIN provide by letter from the Federal govt. as I result my return was rejected the last two years; when I got the rejection message it then told me where to enter the PIN and the second submittal was accepted. Please correct this oversight.
Pros: Easy to prepare
