The software does the job but is cumbersome. The lack of scrolling makes it time consuming.
Cons: Time consuming

I'm neither an accountant or computer person but this software makes filing taxes easy and I believe accurate. I have used it for years, well worth it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast

Some screens are far to cluttered with the mini worksheets. It may be better to have a button labeled "View Mini Worksheet" so it pops up when you really care to see it.
All in all it's a nice piece of easy to use software.

The state (IA) did not include 2210 or Schedule AI. Seems like a pretty big omission.

The program needs to compare combined tax (Fed & State) with and without itemized deduction to assist users in making the decision for both. In MD, the state return MUST use the same method as the federal return, so a comparison is necessary. The program now requires me to do that manually.

I have used this for more than 15 years and find it easy to use. I have never been audited. It saves time because it accesses previous returns for a lot of information, so I just have to edit it instead of reentering a lot of things. I will continue to use it.
