Excellent product; no processing issues encountered. One suggestion might be to have the product tell you what State returns are needed based on W2 data and residency. I wasn't sure I needed to file an out of state return. Just have the product tell you what states are necessary.

This tax preparation software probably saves me several hours at tax time. It never tries to spring a gotcha of additional cost like the other popular tax prep software. After 6 years of use I have never had an issue with the IRS using this program.

Been using H&R Block for over 20 years. The Interview style is easy to work with and it fills in all the neccessary forms based on your answers. You can print and mail your returns or do electronic transfers for up to 5 returns.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast

This program works as advertised. It is pretty easy to use if you have all your documents ready, but if you don't you can save what you have while you collect the rest of the documents. My return is moderately complex, but HRB Deluxe makes it easy to complete. The clarification markers are helpful for the most part if you have questions about the meaning of certain terms, The e-filing works fine for the Fed forms, but I still have to mail in my state forms. Total time to do my taxes, print, and file, was under four hours. I've been using HRB Deluxe for four years now, and like the way it fills in a lot of the information from the previous year. It won't keep you from making boneheaded mistakes like forgetting to enter a taxable stock sale, but at least it asks you if you sold any stocks.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Fast
Cons: Hard to import documents
