I couldn’t get it to update

I had difficulty e-filing because the software wouldn’t update. I had to manually update it multiple times before it would take. My credit card was charged 6 times as i tried to navigate through the update and as i tried to e-file. Very frustrating
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Time consuming
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I purchased Fed + MI state tax with HRB, The only way I buy software is old school Price Performance. My opinion is for most of us, HRB has been the winner in this category for many years.

incorrect or just confusing returns, deleted important information from state returns and difficult to correct, missing necessary federal worksheets.

Mostly good. Easy to use, leads you through the steps.
Corrections at end are hard to understand and correct.
I own a small business. Every year it forces me to enter too much business data. Then it recommends that I use standard deduction. Why can't I just enter the income data, then select standard deduction? This should be fixed!

I’ve been using this software for over 20 yrs. Even though the owner of the software and name has changed over the years, it has always been very easy to use, extremely accurate and has the full backing of H&R Block, a long established tax accounting firm.
