I had trouble understanding the difference between the signature pin and the IRS identity protection pin. It would’ve been better if there was a clear discussion of those two pins. In the discussion of the IRS pin, it would be helpful to note that that pin changes every year and you have to go to IRS online to get the right pin. I submitted my taxes to IRS four times before it was finally accepted on the fourth try..

I had to uninstall my first download from your site. My computer would not open it up. I tried to reinstall it and realized I had to type in the confirmation code and not copy/paste it. I finally was able to download and install. A very frustrating afternoon.
Otherwise the software downloaded.
I have one big issue. I use Victory Funds from Texas and wish you would allow me the availability to download it.

Worst experience ever. Got to the e-filing part, selected Federal and AZ State, and only the Federal completed, and now I cannot e-file the AZ State return and I am forced to print and mail the return, with all attachments! I tried TaxCut this year because of the price, but TurboTax is worth the extra cost. I have been e-filing my returns since the first time I could do so many, many years ago - and this yest was the worst filing ever.

We have used H & R Block tax software for several years now and find it usually leads us through the tax filing process well. Once in a while we don't understand something in their explanations, but it always works out. This year we found a steps that had to be followed for estimated taxes confusing, as we did not need to do estimated taxes, but the software would not let us by pass it. This was, as I said confusing, and slow us down as we kept questioning if we were doing something wrong.
Pros: Easy to import documents
I would recommend this to a friend!

Superior over TurboTax - the interview process sticks to the more common items with the option of viewing more while TurboTax makes you walk through lots of screens that do not apply. Also appreciate the fewer offers for upgrading or other paid features. TurboTax not only pushes additional unnecessary services but sometimes presents them as necessary when they aren't. The error check was thorough and reassuring, my return was promptly accepted and my refund processed more steadily than expected.
