This year's software is really causing me problems trying to complete my taxes correctly. I needed to file an amended return due to receiving tax info late from a company I use for investing and believe me that feature is there with no pre description of the process and apparently no way to correct any issues entered incorrectly. Once the 1040X is done the original return apparently disappears leaving you without a copy of the original interview. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this.
Pros: Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

H&R Block Deluxe tax is relatively easy to use and is at a goodprice. If you have some unique issues (non-standard income sources, or unique tax breaks available) you may have to read through the IRS instructions, and/or play around a little with the program to see how to incorporate them, but for most the Q&A format makes doing your own taxes easy.
