I have enjoyed using this program for the past few years. I was using another program (T) for a few years and was happy. However, when they had a glitch in their program, they would not take responsibility for the issue and in fact rude. I switched immediately and the service is much better.
I do not use the government program because they had a glitch in their system a few years ago and data was exposed to hackers. This program has been very secure over the years I have used it.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents, Fast

Federal is good but has a few problems. Must specify state in personal information for electronic filing.
Virginia is very difficult, some of instructions must be ignored, i.e. residence is misleading. MFS instructions should be ignored. Problem runs best on MFJ. Virginia form 763 is useless

I have been using H&R Block Deluxe for about 20 years. This year, I can't import 1099 forms from financial institutions. Bank of America Merrill Lynch is not on the list of importable financial institutions.
