easy installation and set up. fairly straight forward especially with basic entries. Could use a bit more explanation with more complex requirements regarding reporting of investment income when venturing beyond standard 1099-Int and 1099-div entries

I bought a Basic Tax disc which did not have rental property so I upgraded to Delux plus State. Downloading erased a lot of data I had to re-enter. . Enraged, I bought a new Delux plus State disc to finish the taxes. But the BAD tax data presentation form caused me to not include rental data. Your software is the worst. I will buy a different one next year.
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare

It’s expensive to file - fed plus two states, especially when all three were simple for a single person. Don’t depend on getting help - you don’t find a phone number, and the chat line has hours of waiting time. If you don’t have a clue about tax forms, this will give you frustration. Eventually you get to the bottom line and are able to file.

I've been using this software for many years now and I love it! I use the Deluxe version and it handles all my stock trades, including my employer plans.
