H&R Block Deluxe Tax Software- Gets the job done!

Easy to install, easy to update, easy to work with. H&R Block "Deluxe" does the job! I hate doing taxes, but at least this product makes it easier.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Easy to import documents
Cons: Time consuming

H&R Block software works and is easy to use if you do not have any complexity to your return. Add a K-1 and it becomes too difficult. You have to do all the research yourself because the interview does not handle them. Some partnerships that issue K-1s, issue it in a format for uploading into the tax software, but not H&R Block software.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund, Easy to import documents, Fast
Cons: Time consuming, Hard to prepare, Hard to import documents

It works great especially when you used it the year before. It pulls up the needed information from the year before and you make any needed changes, fill in the new information and H&R does the rest.

I have been using the H&R Block tax programs for more than 5 years. I have relatively simple returns. I've found that the Block programs make my data entry easy and do the job of creating and filing very well.

I received a 1099 for my retirement. For some reason this year there is no place to put a 1099.

Used for more than 20 years. Only once did I have a problem which was loading the program. Technical support was quick and efficient gettin me going in one call. Program has always work well. I realy like the ability to import some of the tax forms, especially from brokers
