Everything was great, transfer over from last year's TurboTax filing went without a hitch. The only suggestion I can think of is to clarify the wording in the RMD section of IRA handling.

Program asks me questions that sometimes confusing and somewhat unclear. Not as intuitive as advertised. Maybe I need to take my tax info to an accountant next year!

Purchased H&R Block Deluxe+Efile+State and have been using it since 2007. Eliminates mistakes (and audits) that would have been made if filing manually. Filing paper tax returns have an error rate of 21% according to the IRS. When you Efile your tax returns, you get your refund faster and helps reduce the likelihood of someone using your social security number to file a fraudulent tax return using your information.

Very disappointing.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for many years and had been satisfied with the product. This years software does not have the capability to import my 1099 int or div from my Merrill Lynch accounts. The AI assistant was no help. The live agent that I spoke with tried to be helpful but lacked any useful information other than to let me know that others were having the problem. I find it difficult to believe that two major players like Block and Merrill can’t get it done. I will have to look elsewhere for a product that can work with Merrill. My financial adviser has made a suggestion to me.
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
