No problems with using the federal tax filing. Have used it for years. Love it.
Tried the state level for the first time thinking it might be easier than the clunky online system used in Maine. Well, H&R was easy enough but it did not tell me that it could not file because I needed a specific form that it did not handle until I tried to actually submit my taxes. Should have told me much earlier in the process. Instead it wasted my time. Still had to file using my state's online system.
Pros: Easy to prepare

Good news....it keeps info from year to year and does a good job on basic tax stuff. Do not have to do all the math yourself and you can efile.
Bad news...for complex stuff, think K1s, I think it leaves a lot to be desired. i feel if you don't know what to do, this is not going to help you.
