I like the discount I was given to return to file my taxes. However some of the verbiage used made things confusing while filing. I almost feel its account talk limbo vs a dummies guide. I feel this program doesnt flow as easy as turbo tax does

I have been using H&R Block for many years. The only problem I have is with the state version. If I want to make a minor change or check something I am forced to go through the entire process each time.
The Federal version is great and saves me from dealing with a paid tax preparer. I cannot see how I can ever prepare my taxes by using paper only.

Long-time user of this software, took a few years off, but have been back with it the last several years. For individual income tax it's a good fit, knows about many obscure rules and forms. I've been offered trials of other online systems but they require a lot of data entry, and many make YOU choose what forms are needed. H&R Software has the interview format, and determines what information and forms are required. Download interface to almost all banks and brokerages saves most data input.

locked up twice.

federal program locked up, had to exit and restart/ double billed us for state return due to activation code did not transfer correctly....reentered and resent file.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
