I have used the tax software for so many years, and I never had any problem, but this tax year has been somewhat disappointing because the software is making changes in some parts of the information by itself. An example, I entered the correct amount in the withholding tax box, and when I ran an accuracy review, it made an error. This happens all the time, even though I corrected it over and over.

I have been using H&R Block tax software for about ten years. I am often a little nervous when I approach the task, but I am always pleasantly surprised at how quick and easy it turns out to be when I am finished. This year, for some unknown reason, I was unable to import my Form 1099 data directly into my return. My financial institution was not included on the list of those providing this service. It wasn't a problem. I entered the data manually. I would have spent the same amount of time verifying the imported data.
Pros: Easy to prepare
Cons: Hard to import documents
