I've purchased This product for years with no complaints, BUT since the state of Arkansas no longer taxes military retirement funds the state program taxes them regardless that they were entered as military retirement. It also automatically also enters under regular retirement and I have to override the entry which means I have to file on paper instead of on line. This clitch has been like this since the state stopped taxing the military retirement.

I have used he H&R Block tax software since the beginning. It has always served me well. I would like to see a "what if" file included with the software so I could change numbers easily from my filed return to see the ramifications on my next year's return. Of course it would have to be a non-fileable item, but it would help in the planning for next year's return.

Worksheet mania destroys continuity of process and searching for entered info difficult to the extent of giving up. AGI info for e filing - Block stated they filed our last year (2024) return. NOT TRUE - AGI from Block 0 - correct AGI -2605. Block requested my wife's AGI. We filed MFJ in 2024. Entered -2605 for Wife's AGI. Block's program accepted and e filed the return. THIS IS A CRITICAL GAFF BY BLOCK. It precludes me from considering any association with Block in the futue.
