Even if you've never done your own tax returns in the past, H&R Block has the easiest to follow software. It provides you with all the necessary questions and guidance to get you through the most tiring task that I kept putting off. It also does continuous updates throughout this job.

It is a good product, but nowadays there are many companies that provide this service. This year I worked in 3 states and did not purchase the additional state forms because of the cost. Each additional state purchase would have cost me the price of the package and the price of sending the forms. The payment of state taxes is enough so I obtained the forms from the specific states, completed the entries, and snailed mailed the forms. You should really consider the charges because I am starting to consider other products.

My tax preparation solution has been with H & R Block for many years. I am an octogenerian and the software has never failed me. It makes the preparation of my faarm income and expenses easy. It also handles investment finance reporting with little effort on my part. In all the years of using H&R Block software, my returns have never been questioned by the IRS.
