Can’t file return without updating software

Normally that wouldn’t be a problem except that you have to uninstall the software then reinstall it. I my case the reinstallation was a mess m. The file was corrupted requiring a repair which was successful. Many customers would not be able to do all that.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been using this product for over 7 years now and never had a problem. This year however after I submitted my daughters taxes by efile I tried to submit mine a couple of weeks later and it wouldn’t allow it to be filed. I tried to update the program as instructed but was unable. I finally printed and sent it by mail, still waiting for my refund. I have recommend this product to friends in the past but won’t again.
Pros: Easy to prepare, Maximizes refund
Cons: Hard to import documents
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
