Software was good however could not get the key code to work for sending the return in for free. So instead of 5 free submissions. I got 0. When I went to the help menu it was a virtual assistant that didn't understand how to help. So instead of wasting more time I just paid the fee to send.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I’ve used HRB software for about 7 years and have been happy with how it works. The only thing I would like to see improved is its handling of stock options trades. Some options trades reporting are confusing in the IRS code for first timers like me and it would be nice to have clarification in the software.

Easy to purchase, download, install, and follow the steps for online tax preparation. I could enter data, save it, and return again another time to continue. I could use the 'back' links or menu tabs to revisit important parts of the tax return. There were helpful hints with links to IRS for more information. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Filing online worked well for my Fed and State returns.

Cons: Time consuming
